About The Author

Lauren Lowther has been writing since she learned the alphabet. She penned her first story, a picture book called ‘Lobby the Lobster’ about crustaceans making friends on the sea floor, at the age of 6. She never stopped writing since that fateful day.

At the age of 10, Lauren had a coming-of-age novella about a young horse, called ‘Horspell’, published in a local newsletter over a 5-part series.

When she’s not writing, she can usually be found chasing after her toddler, working on the homestead, or attempting to keep up to her reading goal (she’s woefully slower than her reading buddy). Lauren lives in Montana, USA with her husband, son, dogs, and horses. Her showjumping partner of 12 years, Finnvarra (pictured), has a cameo in the Dark Truths series.

A Kingdom of Dark Truths is her first of now 3 published novels, with plans for many more.
